Whether you are moving 200 miles or 2000 miles, you want to choose a direct and in-house moving company. This means, you want to try and choose a moving company that will service you with company direct trucks and staff. Our customers are all serviced directly with our trucks and staff from pickup to delivery. Be sure to know that moving brokers will outsource every aspect from your move to unknown moving companies for pickup and delivery. This usually causes extreme price increases and delivery delays. Even extreme damages to items due to the handling of your items too many times.

Now that you have selected the right moving company for you, it is time to start getting prepared and packed as your big move day approaches. It is always best to start packing all your smaller items early and in advance. This helps you declutter your environment which makes it much easier to sort through items as you pack. It also allows you to avoid the chaos of doing it last minute. Try to pack all your items in boxes and/or plastic bins. Be sure to protect glass items well to avoid damages.
Finally, the big day is here! It is always best to leave your moving day open and available. Your moving company should have already supplied you with a pickup time window.
